Across the Waves Football Club is delighted to announce the reappointment of Rick Irvine as our FQPL Mens Head Coach for the 2024 and 2025 seasons.
After an impressive first season at the helm, Irvine will now be looking to build on the unprecedented success experienced by his youthful squad last year.
In 2023, our men’s program enjoyed one of its most successful seasons to date, winning a third consecutive league title and achieving record-breaking success in the Australia Cup and FQPL Champions League.
Plans are already under way for a strong start to 2024, with open training sessions set to begin on Wednesday November 8th at 6:30pm at The Waves Sports Complex.
Rick Irvine is Waves through and through, having coached teams in every age group from U/6s to Senior Mens. His reappointment is no doubt a strong sign of the club's unmatched commitment to coach development.
We are looking forward to seeing him continue to succeed in this role with the assistance of his dedicated coaching staff!
