Registration is a two step process in 2025. You will complete your Club and Football Queensland Registration in step 1 on the Squadi Platform, followed by your Football Australia registration in step 2.
Step 1: Register via Squadi
Ready to register? Head to registration.squadi.com and follow the prompts to get started.
Step 2: Complete registration with PlayFootball.V2
IMPORTANT: In 2025, Football Australia has introduced a new, separate FA registration fee which is $15 for juniors and $35 for seniors. Registration in BOTH Squadi and PlayFootball is a requirement to begin training and playing for insurance purposes.
Once registration is completed in Squadi, you will be redirected to the Football Australia website to complete this step.

*When registering in Squadi App and Play Football V2 you will be required to upload a passport style photo for the player if over the age of 11. Photos must be front on/head and shoulders photo, no other person, no sunglasses, no hat, no animals, less than 2MB and taken within the last 12 months.

TERMS OF REGISTRATION
Acceptance of registration is subject to the player meeting all of the requirements of registration, which includes:
(1) Registration of Player in Squadi and PlayFootball
(2) Payment of full registration fees (including separate FA registration fee), or a payment plan organised through Squadi
(3) All players over the age of 18 must be a FULL FOOTBALL MEMBER at The Waves Sports Club. All players under the age of 18 must have at least one parent/guardian who is a FULL FOOTBALL MEMBER at The Waves Sports Club.
(4) International clearance where appropriate and required.
Wherever possible, Across the Waves Football Club Inc. (The Club) attempts to accept the registration of all players. In certain circumstances, team numbers must be capped to ensure a correct and suitable number of players in each team. In each instance where this occurs, The Club reserves the right to not register players in teams where the total quota of players is reached. In this event, a player or parent/guardian will be notified, and any monies paid will be refunded.
It is the policy of The Club to attempt to keep players in teams from season to season. The Club also considers requests for players to play together in teams. Whilst every attempt is made to be guided by these principles, The Club reserves the right to allocate players to team as registration team sees fit.
