Junior Development Program

Across the Waves Football Club prides itself on offering the best opportunities for junior footballers to improve at the game. There will be some footballers that go on to higher honours (such as our two Socceroos Josh Brillante and Mitch Langerak) but for most it is about improving individual skills and growing an enjoyment for the game.  This is the core reason that ATWFC invests time and resources into offering a free Junior Development program for our junior players.

Currently, the program is lead by our Head of Junior Development, Fiona Stevensen. Fiona is an accredited coach with vast experience in curriculum football and has a unique way of getting the best from junior footballers. With a great knowledge of modern football concepts and what is required to improve as a footballer, Fiona continues to gain improvement from all junior footballers that attend the program.
